Geordie bombshell, Cheryl Cole, takes to the O2 stage on the 7th October. This international pop sensation returns to her homeland to perform live to thousands of adoring fans. One time X Factor runner up, Aiden Grimshaw, is performing at the Scala on the 2nd October for people who saw the talent and promise this young lad from up north possessed.
English eleven-piece band Bellowhead, with their contemporary folk-inspired sounds, play at the Roundhouse on the 7th November. Noted for their energetic and lively performances, these guys will definitely provide an enjoyable evening for anyone after folk vibes. Scottish pop band, Deacon Blue, return for a 25th anniversary performance on 22nd October, also at the Roundhouse. Five days later, on the 27th October, again at the same venue, sees experimental metal artist, Devin Townsend, perform some of his distinctly progressive take on modern metal tunes.
Frontman Neil Hannon takes to the stage on the 7th November with his indie band, The Divine Comedy. With critical acclaim and well known charting sounds, they’ll be sure to create a lively rocking atmosphere for all attendees. Fellow indie veterans, Feeder, will be playing at the O2 Brixton Academy on the 23rd November – any indie rock fan will surely remember the catchy sounds of Buck Rogers and Just the Way I’m Feeling – go check them out for a nostalgic look at the sounds of the early noughties.
Homegrown metal band, Dragonforce, return to their home city during their latest UK tour. Playing at Shepherd’s Bush Empire, these masters of extreme power metal will provide riffs and rhythm that will reverberate around the walls of this excellent London venue.
